Not Seen and Not Heard – Personal testimony and prayer of invitation:
“To all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.” - John 1:12

Judee takes us along on her journey from unwanted child to beloved daughter of the King! God kept His hand on her life through a lonely childhood, marital conflict and family sorrows as He drew her to Himself and gave her the refuge and peace she was seeking. In God’s plan we were not accidents. We were wanted, planned and created for His glory.

Preparing for Victory:
“Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ.” - 1 Corinthians 15:57

Our walk with the Lord is a daily commitment to identify with Jesus. Isn’t that a freeing thought?! We don’t have to be perfect or have a certain number of Bible verses in our memory banks! If we are willing to follow Christ, then each day becomes a time of preparation. No matter what happens, each day is part of the process on our journey to God’s heart.

Treasures of the Heart (Mother’s Day Presentation):
“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it. . .” - Jeremiah 6:16

The old ways, old values, and time you invested are filled with memories of you. In your heart alone are your family memories, your passions for life, your love of the Lord and His Word, and your immeasurable love for your children and grandchildren. The only things of real importance you have to give your children that no one else in the world can give them are the “Treasures of Your Heart”

God’s Gift - - Amazing Grace:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

What is grace? The Bible tells us that Grace is favor - - unmerited favor - - unearned favor. Grace is the personal presence of God Almighty as we strive to be perfect but always fall short. The most amazing gift of grace the world will ever know is that Christ became human to die for the sins of mankind. This One who had no sin and no weakness allowed Himself to be crucified on a cross that we might be forgiven. Amazing! Becoming a Christian is not based on “what we do” but on what Jesus has already done for us.

Spiritual Ducks:
“It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer and while they are still speaking, I will hear.” - Isaiah 65:24

How many times have you thought that you will begin your “full-time” Christian walk when the kids are older or gone, or when your parents don’t need your daily care, when you stop working full-time or when some other milestone is reached in your life? Then you will have more time to find out what your gifts are - - - to nurture the special little seeds of talent that God planted in your heart. But, God doesn’t’ want you to wait until you have all your spiritual ducks in a row. The day that you accept Christ as your personal Lord and Savior is the day He wants you to begin your work for Him.

All I Really Need To Know I Learned from Noah and the Ark:
“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” - Genesis 6:8

Each time God spoke to Noah, Noah obeyed without question. Such faith and obedience! Can you imagine the teasing of his friends and neighbors when Noah began building a giant boat in the middle of the desert where no one had ever seen rain? But Noah didn’t listen to the laughing and criticizing of those around him. He listened only to God and obeyed. I want a great faith like that!! I’ve learned a lot of wisdom from Noah like, don't miss the boat. Plan ahead; it wasn't raining when Noah built the ark, you know. Stay fit; when you're 600 years old, someone might ask you to do something REALLY big. Don't listen to critics; just get on with what God wants you to do. No matter what the difficulty, trust in the Almighty. There will be a rainbow at the end of the storm.

The Seeds of Love:
The seed is the Word of God. And the seed in the good soil; these are the ones who have heard the Word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.” - Luke 8:12&15

God created in each of us a longing to know Him and a definite purpose or talent with which to glorify Him. We are the “seeds” that can spread God’s love to the world. No life is an “accident” but all are part of God’s plan. What kind of “seed” will you be? (This can be divided and expanded into two or three sessions for a weekend retreat.)
